Favorite Pin Friday – Breakfast

It has been a few weeks since my last Favorite Pin Friday. Better late than never right? The theme for the third edition of Favorite Pin Friday is breakfast. Lately I have been trying some new breakfast recipes and have fallen in love with a few. Here they are.

The first recipe is one that I tried for the first time today. These Oatmeal Cottage Cheese Banana Pancakes from Ambitious Kitchen are delicious, healthy, and loaded with protein. I had mine with strawberries and peanut butter.


This pin is more of an idea than a recipe. I love making toast and spreading avocado on it. Top  with a scrambled egg. I also like to drizzle some sriracha on top. Yummy, healthy, and filling!


Peanut Cookie Dough Overnight Oats from Fit Foodie Finds is one of my favorite recipes…not just for breakfast either. I love to bring these for lunch at work too. Fit Foodie Finds is an awesome blog and it is filled with healthy recipes. These oats are a must try! They taste just like cookie dough. I use chunky peanut butter in mine and top with semi-sweet chocolate chips and almond slices. Yum!


I am obsessed with smoothies. They are such an easy, fast breakfast food. I typically have one every day for breakfast. Most of the time I make a smoothie with cashew milk, banana, spinach, peanut butter, and vanilla protein powder. When I feel like changing it up, this Chunky Monkey Smoothie is one of my go-to recipes. I usually add a scoop of protein powder to this as well. It tastes like dessert!
