Greek-Inspired Bowl + Hak’s Dressing {Gluten Free}

Happy Saturday!! How has your week been going? This was my second week off of work for summer. Besides anxiously anticipating Baby Schlangen, I have been keeping busy cleaning, cooking, walking and spending time outside with Oliver, and catching up with friends before life gets crazy. It is supposed to be super hot outside again this weekend. Not fun when you are way pregnant. The heat has a way of helping you to develop gorgeous cankles and swelling…I will miss this so much after I have the baby…HA!

With the hot weekend ahead, a light, refreshing meal that doesn’t require the oven is just the thing. These Greek-Inspired Bowls are perfect for lunch or dinner. To make them, all you have to do is prep a few fresh veggies, shred rotisserie chicken, and cook some sort of rice. I like using a quinoa and rice blend that can be made in the microwave.

To top off the Greek Bowl, Hak’s Greek Salad Dressing is the perfect finishing touch. The Greek dressing is light, bursting with flavor, and a great compliment to the ingredients in my Greek-Inspired Bowl. The Greek dressing is made from red wine vinegar, oil, dijon mustard, sugar, salt, garlic, and pepper. Simple and delicious!

Hak’s salad dressings come in 6-packs of individual dressing packets. This is out of the ordinary, but actually is an excellent idea. The first thing that I really like is how the dressing is already portioned out for you. It is easy to overdress foods and the calories add up fast. The other thing I really like about this dressing is you can have a variety to choose from without worrying about them going bad while sitting open in the fridge.

Hak's Greek Dressing

Hak’s Salad Dressing comes in the following flavor varieties: Greek, Balsamic, Country Italian, Honey Dijon, Miso, Olive Oil and Lemon, Sesame and Ginger, and Spicy Thai. The dressings are all natural, non-GMO, contain no preservatives, are gluten free, and made in small batches. A little piece of trivia for you…Hak’s is made by Sharone Hakman who has appeared on MasterChef.

Let me know what you think if you give these dressings a try, or if you have already tried them! Hak’s also makes cooking sauces and barbecue sauces with the same quality and flavor as these dressings.

Have a fabulous weekend!!
