Total time
  • 1 - 10 oz bag 60% dark chocolate chips (I used Ghirardelli)
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 - bag gf pretzels (I had a 14 oz. bag and was able to coat most of it with this amount of chocolate)
  • ½ bag Heath Bits O' Brickle Toffee Bits (these are the toffee pieces without any chocolate coating)
  1. Set up a double boiler to melt your chocolate.
  2. To do this, fill a pot with 2-3 inches of water and bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to simmer.
  3. Set a bowl on top of the pot. The bottom of the bowl should not touch your water.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and coconut oil to the bowl. Stir until completely melted.
  5. Be sure to use an oven mitt if needed because the bowl can become hot.
  6. When the chocolate in melted remove from heat.
  7. Add a handful of pretzels to the melted chocolate and toss to coat.
  8. Use a fork to pull out each pretzel and lay on sheets of wax paper to dry.
  9. While the chocolate is wet, sprinkle toffee bits on top of each pretzel.
  10. Repeat these steps until you have used all of your chocolate.
  11. Let pretzels stand on wax paper until chocolate has hardened and cooled completely.
