5-Minute Brown Sugar Candied Walnuts

Serves: 1 cup
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup raw walnut halves
  • sea salt to taste
  1. Heat a nonstick skillet to medium.
  2. Add butter, brown sugar, and walnuts to the pan.
  3. Stir continuously. The butter and brown sugar will melt together and start to coat the walnuts.
  4. Continue to stir constantly for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and pour the walnuts onto a sheet of parchment paper.
  6. If you want to add more salt, add while the sugar is still warm.
  7. Let cool completely until sugar is hardened.
Use the walnuts to top salads or on their own as a snack.
